About The Firm

Rothschild, Barry & Myers LLP was founded in 1952 by Edward I. Rothschild, John Paul Stevens, and Norman J. Barry. Justice Stevens remained a partner until he was appointed to the Seventh Circuit and then to the United States Supreme Court. Norman Barry remained a partner until his death in 1998; Edward Rothschild retired at the end of 2007.

The firm has adhered over the years to the view that a good small firm provides the highest quality and most cost-efficient representation of clients. The firm believes that its size, and more important, the quality of its personnel, provides the ability to understand and give direct attention to its clients' needs while handling matters of the highest complexity and scope.
