Mr. Silk assists clients in a variety of commercial real estate matters. He handles the preparation and negotiation of office, retail and industrial leases for landlord and tenant clients. He also advises owners on a variety of contracts relating to the operation of a commercial building, which includes the drafting and negotiation of agreements concerning the services to be provided by contractors, architects, and consultants. Additionally, Mr. Silk has significant experience in commercial real estate litigation, including the representation of clients in mortgage foreclosures, eviction actions, mechanic’s lien disputes, and post judgment enforcement actions.  


Mr. Silk counsels parties in a wide variety of complex commercial disputes including real estate, franchise and contract matters. His litigation practice includes the representation of clients in state and federal trial and appellate courts, as well as in arbitration proceedings. Mr. Silk also advises clients on corporate matters including the negotiation of commercial contracts and with respect to purchase and sale transactions.
